Cordite Factory Aruvankadu was established on 19th January
1904 by Mrs. Radcliffe at 38 km far away from Mettupalayam and 12 km away from
Ooty invites applications for filling up the vacant posts of Fireman and Durwan

01. Fireman

Salary: – Rs. 5200-20200/-, Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Qualification: – Matriculation from any recognized Board or
Institution and must have completed basic course on elementary fire fighting
course duration not be less than six months.
Physical Eligibility: -
Height: – 165 cms
Chest: – Without Expanded – 81.5 cms and Expanded – 85 cms.
Weight: – Minimum 50 Kgs
02. Durwan
No. of Vacancies: – 07 (UR-03, SC-02, OBC-02)
Pay Scale: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- per
month.
Academic Qualification: – Pass the Matriculation examination
from any recognized Institution or Board and must be physically fit.

Chest: – Without Expanded – 77 cms and Expanded – 82 cms
Weight: – 45 kgs
